International Flights

Direct flights from London to China are available with these airlines:-

Air China fly from London to Beijing 7 days a week (from Beijing they run many internal flights)

British Airways fly from London to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong

Virgin Atlantic fly from London to Shanghai and Hong Kong

These are the quickest options, with flight time approx 11-12 hours.

In-direct international options from London usually involve a stop/change in the home hub of the airline, for example :-

Emirates fly from London to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong via a stop/change in Dubai

KLM fly from London to Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Hong Kong via a stop/change in Amsterdam

Lufthansa fly from London to Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong via a stop/change in Frankfurt/Munich

These flights inevitably take several hours longer, but can work out to the most cost-effective.

Regional UK departures operate as follows:-

British Airways have domestic connections with London from Edinbugh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Manchester and Newcastle.

KLM have domestic connections with Amsterdam from Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Humberside, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester...they have a large network of internal flights in China.

This option is more convenient if you do not live near London.

Own Arrangements

If you already have your own flights arranged, we can work with your schedule to arrange a "land only" tailor-made tour in China for you.

Food on Flights

If you have any special dietary requirements such as vegetarian food, non-dairy, gluten-free, halal etc we shall pass on the request to the airline upon booking your flights, although we are unable to gaurantee they will provide this as this is out of our control.
