Join us for one of the best hiking routes in Yunnan. Highlights include :- Lijiang One of China’s best preserved ancient towns with a history of over 800 years, marvel at its willow-lined canals, cobbled streets, waterways and cafes. The Old Town was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1997. Baoshan Stone Town Built in the late 13th Century it is a small town with 100 families on top of a gigantic rock. Lugu Lake One of the deepest freshwater lakes in China bordering two provinces and encircled by mountains and woods. The waters are so clear you can see 10m deep to the lake bed.
Day	Activity
1	Lijiang - Boashan (B)
	Depart for the drive to Baoshan. Stay at a guesthouse overnight.
2	Trek to Liuqing (B)
	In the morning we visit the picturesque old part of the Stoney City. A tough day trekking ahead as the path an get quite steep and narrow ahead at times climbing to 3500m, we will also go through two tunnels on the path to Liuqing village. The highlights include beautiful views of the rice terraces, the Yangtze flowing below and small Naxi and Tibetan villages. Stay with a local Naxi family for the night.
3	Trekking to Fengke (B)
	Head off on the mainly downwards path for spectacular views of the mountain range and the gorge below. The terrain is dry and arrid, the route can be difficult at times due to loose stones and gravel.
4	Trekking to Labu (B)
	Todays path is mostly downhill and a little steep, you will be rewarded with landscape similar to the moon. Passing through the villages of the ethnic Moso and Pumu people. Ride a boat across the second bend of the Yangtze River. At the end of the trek we will drive by truck or 4 wheel drive to Lugu Lake and stay overnight at a hotel.
5	Lugu Lake (B)
	At leisure to relax around the Lake.
6	Trek to Dazu (B)
	The car will carry all our luggaue leaving us free to trek by the lakeside to Dazu. Enjoy lunch at Lige village then continue trekking to Dazu.
7	Dazu - Lijiang (B)
	Morning drive to Loshui for breakfast, then drive back to Lijiang where the tour ends.
