After breakfast transferred to the station for the 90 minute ride to Nanjing. This afternoon we will visit the famed Yangtze River Bridge and in the evening we will explore the Confucius Temple and the surrounding area famed for its street market, restaurants and cafes. |

Located at the foot of the Zhongshan Mountain Scenic Area is the Mausoleum of Dr Sun Yat Sen - regarded as the founding father of modern China who established the Ruplic. It is considered as a holy pilgrimage for Chinese people both home and abroad. The Ming Tombs, Plumb Blossom Hill, and Linggu Temple are also part of the Park. |

Nanjing - Suzhou (B) |

Transfer by a 90 minute train ride to Suzhou, a beautiful city known as the "Venice of the East" renowned for its classical and attractive Chinese gardens, stone bridges and pagodas are all explored on foot. In the afternoon we will take a cruise on the Grand Canal - the largest in China. Suzhou is also famed for its Silk Embroidery, considered as some of the finest in China.

Drive from Suzhou to the water town of Tongli, with a history of over 1,000 years it comprises many islands connected by footbridges. In the later afternoon we transfer to Hangzhou by a short train ride. |

Start the day at the West Lake - panoramic scenery awaits you in the form of weeping willow trees, peach blossoms, ancient stone bridges and pagodas. Our next stop is Ling Yin Temple - a Buddhist Monastery and one of the most famous in China for its research in Chinese Buddhist culture. |

After breakfast we will visit a tea plantation and sample some traditional brews in a local Tea House. Explore the traditional local shops and markets around Qing He Fong Street. head back to Shanghai by train where the tour ends. |
