Victoria Peak
The highest vantage point on Hong Kong island, a trip 500m up here whether by bus or the peak tram affords spectacular views over skyscrapers and the harbour.
Tian Tan Buddha
On Lantau Islands peak is the bronze statue of one of the worlds largest seated outdoor Buddhas. Climb up the 268 steps on the hill to afford breath-taking views of the surrounding scene. A cable car also operates to take you to the summit. Enjoy a vegetarian meal athe Po Lin Monastery's restaurant.
Stanley
The south side of Hong Kong island makes an enjoyable day trip to a smaller town with a vibrant market. Great for picking up souvenirs and one of Hong Kongs best beaches.
