Sightseeing today starts by joining the local people at the beautiful Temple of Heaven for Tai Chi. After lunch we will stroll through Tiananmen Square, then enter the incredible Forbidden City. In the evening there will be a sumptuous Peking Duck Dinner. |

Visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu, afternoon head to the Summer Palace. On the way back to Beijing and stop at some 2008 Olympic venues such as the Birds Nest and the Water Cube. |

We will visit the Yungang Caves and the 1400 year old Hanging Monastery. Continue driving to Wutaishan where we spend the night- one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China. |

Pingyao is a listed World Heritage Site. This town offers a great insight into the architectural styles of Imperial China. Highlights include the Ancient City Wall and Ancient Ming and Qing Street. The Rishengchang Financial House Museum, Zhengguo Temple and Shuang Lin Temple. |

Catch the bullet train to Hangzhou - one of China's most scenic spots, sightseeing begins at the West Lake – panoramic scenery awaits you in the form of weeping willow trees, peach blossoms, ancient stone bridges and pagoda’s. Also visit Ling Ying Temple – a Buddhist Monastery. After lunch we shall visit a tea plantation and sample some traditional brews in one of the local Tea Houses. We will also look around the local markets near Qing He Fong Street. Return to Shanghai by train. |
