Itinerary
|
Days 1-2 UK - Shanghai
Fly overnight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel, rest of the day free to relax.(D)
Days 3 Shanghai - Yichang
Fly to Yichang to board our Yangtze River Cruise vessel for the next four nights.(B,L,D)
Days 4 – 6 Yangtze River Cruise
We will cruise upstream through the Three Gorges from Yichang to Chongqing. Over the next three days we will have a tour of the Three Gorges Dam and take a trip in small boats on the Shennong Stream. We also enjoy visiting 'Ghost City' of Fengdu with its captivating temples. (B,L,D)
Days 7 Chongqing - Guilin
Arrive at Chongqing in the morning. Disembark from our cruise vessel and visit the Panda House at Chongqing Zoo before flying to the beautiful city of Guilin. (B,L,D)
Days 8 Guilin – Yangshuo
Cruise on the Li River, and enjoy the breathtaking landscape of the beautiful limestone hills, tranquil fishing scenes and the peaceful villages. We continue downstream to the riverside town of Yangshuo. Drive back to Guilin in the afternoon. (B,L,D)
Day 9 Guilin - Xian
Visit the colourful Reed Flute Caves, Fubo Hill and taking a flight to Xian. (B,L,D)
Days 10 Xian
The Terracotta Warriors, and important archaeological discovery of the 20th century, will be one of the attractions we will be seeing today. This afternoon we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. A traditional Chinese cultural performance, the Tang Dynasty Show, with a special dumpling dinner, has been arranged for the night. (B,L,D)
Days 11 Xian – Beijing
Visit the City Wall and Great Mosque and take a flight to Beijing in the afternoon. (B,L,D)
Days 12 Beijing
Sightseeing today includes a stroll through Tiananmen Square. It is the largest public square in the world. Then we will explore the incredible Forbidden City, which has the largest and best preserved collection of ancient buildings in China. We will also visit the beautiful of Heaven. This ornate structure, made entirely of wood, was built in 1420 and is still used as a hall of prayer for good harvests. During the evening there will be a delicious Peking Duck Dinner. (B,L,D)
Days 13 Beijing
This morning we will visit the Great Wall. On the way back we will stop at the Olympic Stadium know as the Bird’s Nest for you to take some photos. We will visit the Summer Palace in the afternoon. (B,L,D)
Days 14 Beijing - Shanghai
Take a flight to Shanghai. Today we will visit the classical Chinese Yu Yuan Garden and walk along the famous Bund, the city’s famous riverside boulevard, which is lined with magnificent former colonial buildings which now stand as monuments to Shanghai’s one- time notoriety and do some shopping in Nanjing Road. (B,L,D)
Days 15 Shanghai - UK
Take a flight back to UK. (B)

Day 01 - Arrive Hong Kong
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02 - Hong Kong
Today will be a half day island tour, starting in the morning, when we will visit Victoria peak with a one way peak tram up, Stanley Market, Repulse bay and Aberdeen. Afternoon is free for leisure.
Day 03 - Hong Kong - departure
Free until transfer to airport for your departure flight.
